City of brotherly love! This trip to Philadelphia straight up changed my life.
I was originally gonna move there shortly after the trip, but ended up deciding to stay in Kalamazoo for a few more years.
The trip was totally worth it, even if I didn't end up moving. It was still really fun to leave Kalamazoo for once.
Shout-out to Jada for joining us at the last minute when we barely knew each other so I wouldn't have to wander the city alone!
The basement music scene isn't as big as everyone said it would be, but we still caught a metal show in a church.
The architecture and grafitti in Philadelphia is fucking amazing. I spent most of the trip just looking at old buildings and street art and eating a lot of overpriced vegan food.
